Product Description

How to measure

  1. Have your child stand barefoot on a blank piece of paper with heels back against a wall (keep paper pushed back against wall).
  2. Draw a line on the paper at child’s longest toes on each foot.
  3. Measure distance between back edge of paper and the lines.
  4. Using the greatest distance, add ½” — that’s your child’s shoe size.
    Tips:
  • Measure their feet every three to four months (kids grow an average of half a size every three months!).
  • There should be about a ½” between end of longest, toe and end of shoe.
  • Fit widest part of foot to widest part of shoe so it bends naturally with the foot.
  • If one foot is larger, fit to larger foot.
  • Buy your baby’s first pair of shoes when first steps begin. Shoes should be soft and flexible.

"I brought these for my 5 year old granddaughter. She loves to play dress-up and she was thrilled when she got them. Because they were size 11-12 they were a little big but that's okay because she can wear them longer! I'm very pleased with them and she is too ! "

"First time ordering from Chasing Fireflies and my last. These shoes run VERY LARGE. My daughter needed them for a play and I ordered her a 2/3 since she wears size 2. They came and were huge on her. I exchanged them for a 13/1 and they are still too big! With shipping charges and an exchange / return policy where you have to pay for shipping each way, I'm never ordering from this company again. "

"Perfect Glass Slippers! - I purchased these for my three year old daughter who loves to play princess. They fit perfect since I was able to choose her exact size. The just one-size princess shoes you mostly find never fit her and are always too narrow. This shoe had a perfect heel - I recommend this product."
