Product Description
Silver Ninja Costume for Boys: Over there -- what's in that tree? It's a ninja, and you're being watched! This fierce-looking ninja comes dressed in black with faux armor strategically placed on the mask, shirt with arm guards, and shin guards. Even the dragon-crested belt (which closes with grippy tabs) has protection over the hips. The armored shirt has back loops to carry a pair of swords (each sold separately) while scaling walls.

How to measure
Items may not be offered in all sizes above. For best fit, use height measurement. Since all children grow at their own pace, this is the most accurate measurement. Weight should be considered when a child is above or below the average weight shown.

Chest
Measure a loop under your child's armpits, passing the tape across fullest part of chest and around shoulder blades.

Waist
Measure a loop just above hipbone, around natural waistline.

"The costume was ok, a little disappointing. We have ordered from Chasing Fireflies in the past and have always been happy with the purchases. The velcro for the panel around the waist was not attached and we had to find another way to attach it and get it to stay up. The red rope came undone. Additionally the face mask fit really oddly and did not stay on well - so my son did not wear that part. But, nonetheless, my son enjoyed the costume. "

"Cute costume. The actual size runs about two sizes small. Disappointed my almost 5 yr old (avg for his age) can barely fit in an 8."

"Great Costume! My 7-year-old loves it. He feels like a real ninja in it. I ordered a size 8, and it fits well everywhere on my tall but thin son, though the silver/black/red piece that goes around the waist is too large, and I had to rig it to stay in place. It was an easy fix though and I think it's a great costume."

"Well made and grandson really liked it, unfortunately he is in between sizes so the top was very snug around chest and loose around shoulders. So it was difficult to pull off. The stretchy material under arms was a nice feature but perhaps an adjustable closure would help getting it on and off. Thank You!"

"My son begged for this costume. We get it and it’s awesome everything he wanted. We try it in and notice the belt with the handle black flag is unraveling, the Velcro is so worn you can’t keep it together. You put the swords in the holders and the loop for the button gives out and rips. He got not even a full use out of it. In my opinion compared to other costumes from this company this was not worth it."

"Costume arrived today. My 7 yr. old son likes it. However, I am disappointed in the quality. The silver pieces on the torso are cut jagged and not smooth and the hood is sewn in a way that doesn't allow room for his eyes between the silver piece and top of the hood. The point almost meets the top of the hood. This seems like a very cheap "made in China" costume. "

"Cool Ninja! This is my 5th costume from Chasing Firelies and I have never been disappointed. The Ninja costume is comfortable for my son the wear and the sizing is great. I was worried the the size 8 would swim on him since he is a solid size 7 right now but there is Velcro in just the right places. "

"This costume runs big. We ordered the medium for my average height/weight 9-year-old and it practically swam on him It is a beautiful costume, but it failed the kid test - hence the three stars. Son said it was too bright and flashy for a ninja and the silver parts were very uncomfortable. I was a little surprised about the comfort as I have ordered many costumes from CF in the past (including the knight and the amazing pirate) and we never had any problems. "

"It's true to size in my opinion. My just turned 6 year old is 46" tall, medium build. Size 6 was fine and still a bit too big so I think it runs TTS. (I also bought an 8 based on reviews this ran small and no way, that was huge). The waste rope/armor was still too big on the size 6 and not adjustable. We're not keeping as he thought it looked more like a knight than a ninja, hood is annoying, etc."

"I purchased this Ninja costume and all accessories for my 7 year old son. The costume looked nice, however, it is not durable. The pants are very thin, black stretchy material. The pants were defective with thin tears. I wish that I can return for a refund. I do not recommend this costume due to the lack of durability. Plan for only 1 wear at a hefty price."

"This is a really great costume and my son loves it! Two issues we had -the breastplate is misshapen from being folded in the package, so it kind of has a weird "bump" that we cannot get rid of. And, the picture shows 2 swords crisscrossed on the back, but the holders for the swords are not sewn on that way, so if you have only one sword, it doesn't go across the back, it just hangs straight down."
