Measure a loop under your child's armpits, passing the tape across fullest part of chest and around shoulder blades.

Waist
Measure a loop just above hipbone, around natural waistline.

"Pictures don't do this justice. Looks great in person and the fabric is easy to modify. There is no zipper for the costume, but the fabrics stretches and flexes with good capacity. I have a tall, athletic and very thin 10 year old that makes the size 8 look fitted and custom made. "

"Great costume - I purchased this for my 7 year old daughter, she is very tall and very slim and it fit perfect. We both loved it and so did everyone else who saw her in it.My only complaint was the red ball earrings we purchased to go with the costume. I paid $9.99 a - I recommend this product."
