CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the measuring tape up under the arms and around the shoulder blades.

WAIST: Measure around the waist (not over pants) at your child's natural waistline

HIPS/DIAPERED SEAT: Stand with heels together and measure around the fullest part of child's hips. For diapered babies, measure around the fullest part of the diapered seat.

"I was a bit hesitant to purchase because of the higher than average cost for a halloween costume, but I was amazed at the detail and beautiful work when I received this in its own dust bag. I can say that it is definitely worth the price and a very beautiful dress (as well as the accessories with the well chosen velvet necklines). I was looking at less expensive options and lots of the reviews for the other costumes mentioned how itchy they were. My daughter has very sensitive skin, and this dress is so well thought out that there is actually additional smooth layers of fabric to protect the child from any itchiness from the netting used to make the costume's shape. Well done!"
